Voices of the Town - A Vaudeville Salute!
We have been chosen to close the Celebrity Rally in Hearing Room A at Legislative Office Building with a 15-minute segment of the vaudeville show (250 seats). An additional performance will be held in the Lobby of the building at 12:45 (90 seats plus thousands of passersby). This is a highly competitive event and we just received word we were chosen. We also nailed meetings with our legislators, Tom Duane, Deborah Glick, Martin Connor and Sheldon Silver (thus far). The vaudeville show is on a Northeastern university tour this winter.

We have finally booked a cool venue for Huck & the boys -- Under St. Mark's on April 10. Bronze Fondue is not simply a breathtaking rock experience featuring the inimitable Huck DeMilo -- the Man in the Butterfly Mask. Bronze Fondue is a perpetually evolving evening of live performance and visual stimulation. The object of Bronze Fondue is to make something organic happen in a world that is increasingly high-fructose corn syrup. BTW, these guys are NYU professors and they bring along some terrific student bands!

Poet Kate Light, award-winning author of Gravity's Dream, The Laws of Falling Bodies, and Open Slowly, and Oceanophony, hits the stage once again with Einstein's Mozart: Two Geniuses. In 2006, the Colorado Chamber Players commissioned and premiered Einstein's Mozart to commemorate the near-convergence of the centenary of Einstein's ½Miracle Year… and Mozart's 250th birthday. Says violinist Jimmy Lin, Artistic Director of SummerFest LaJolla, which commissioned and premiered Oceanophony, "Kate Light's words in Oceanophony, like her other works, are delightful, whimsical, informative and funny. The words lent themselves so easily to music that they seem like beautiful musical notes -- each one a droplet of sparkle.
